Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

And its also mixed with grief and easter and memories abd tests coming up and studying and holidays and ahhh it hurts

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I think maybe life just does hurt sometimes, @Former-Member. Breathe through it, relax your body and rest if that's what is needed. I've got to go out now. Will be thinking of you and sending good wishes for you feeling better soon. Heart

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Thanks @Mazarita

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I'm replying here rather than in the other thread @Former-Member because I get jumbled going from place to place and I think Spooky is busy and Bella is keeping her head afloat too so here feels a little better maybe. Keep riding that wave and flood however you can. It won't stay forever, it will change. I hear how hard it is, and want you to know that it's understandable that it's feeling hard. This is the time for doing whatever feels right, even if that's allowing yourself time for it to shift. 💕

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Good idea @CheerBear
Im trying to let it pass but its so friggin hard

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

It's so hard, i really get that. I guess the thing about our bodies/minds is you don't really even need to 'try' to let it pass. It will change, or shift, or pass or something will happen that will make it different. Not necessarily take it away or make it better, but different. It's hard to remember that there's sometimes good moments when you're in that wave, but if you think of those times you've been here before you'll see that they don't last forever (even if they feel like they will). I'm hearing you and thinking of you too, like lots of your forum family

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Hi @Former-Member

In some ways that is a beautiful story - but it obviously is something to do with a hard thing that has caused you to lose your horse - and I feel so sad for you

But  I don't know what to say to help - Saturday in a long weekend is a hard time to be so vulnerable

I understand though - the world has really given you such a hard time in a short time - but one thing I have 2nd hand touch with - and that is that my son loved animals more than people - and for him - animals did not let him down or hurt him - and to him it seemed that all people had

Back stories contain shadows - as your story must - my son's story does

mmm - hard to say something useful - but I think what you are feeling - as horrible as it is - is normal - and very hard to explain

Self-care - I have had that suggested to me and I just don't know what to do when I need self-care

Sending some virtual hugs - and a pic of my cat
