Re: Life can be a Pain

Oh that was a mistake @Owlunar - never look anything up online if you aren't prepared for the worst possible scenario! ...and yes - once a tooth is out it doesn't grow back like a toenail - arghhh!!

My first ever mobile phone was a Nokia - way, way back when they first came out - that was over 20 years ago. It was nearly as big as my foot lol I have had Samsung's ever since they came out.

Look after you my dear Dec. Goodnight and sweet dreams to you Heart

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Zoe7

The trouble was my sore toenail was up there with all the other horrible toenails - aw - this is not good

The doctor gave me a couple of samples of anitbiotics to take until I could get to the pharmacy - and I woke up feeling terrible - I have an upset tummy and I needed to get the script filled and I have to take these antibiotics if I can so I got some tablets for the nausea too and I am starting to feel a lot better

What fun we are all having right now - so many people are crook

I am thinking that the way I am feeling could be kickback from the anniversary and other things that are happening - my toenail is a physical issue that I have inherited - my father had the same problem - but my upset tummy could be kickback and really natural - I can hope that this passes and I am feeling much better than I did when I woke up this morning

So - about you - how were you overnight? How are you this morning? Is your tummy agreeable with your antibiotics and are the pain killers doing enough for you. Yes - it's true your tooth is out now forever and toenails grow back - I have been through all of this before - but getting another tooth out feels worse -

Enough

Today we are having strong wind today and heavy weather if forecast for for later and I can see it on the BOM radar - luckily I really don't feel at all like walking today - but for the time being it is good to watch the sun outside

Your support has been so great these last days - I am feeling cared for and I would wait a long time for people in my ordinary world to notice - no one I would feel okay about telling - there is so much strength in peer support

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Sophia1

The support has been wonderful - it has meant so much to me.

I think I am having a backlash today - just hoping the upset tummy settles sometime soon - I am blaming the antibiotics I am taking for my infected toenail are the cause

We can keep all sorts of things out of our consciousness but they do come around to catch us in other ways and today I just need to sit it out

Eating jelly beans

Thanks so much for your support

Hi @CheerBear

It will be great to have a Christmas in July - no consequences party right now

I will be looking forward to that

Hi @Former-Member

I know you are doing hard yards with everything atm but it's true - what we are enduring right now is nothing compared to the joy in heaven when the time comes

Take one day at a time sis - gradually things will fall into place - I hope you can keep your sibs out of it so you can care for your Dad with the love both of you deserve

I can't comment on the way your sibs behave but as I said before - I reckon they are jealous - you are doing a good job there and God knows

Sending hugsHeart

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hopefully your tunny settles down over the next couple of days @Owlunar - the sooner the better for you Smiley Happy

It is probably a combination of the stress you have been under these last couple of weeks as well as the AB for your toensil - whatever the cause it is good you have anti-nausea meds to help out.

I am glad you are feeling the love from the community here @Owlunar and I am happy to be able to provide you with even a little of that support - just as you have done for me many times - it does make a difference Heart

My mouth is sore again but I have painkillers and will take them - the pain in my jaw already seems to be diminishing but my mouth is still very tender. Hopefully I will only need the meds for today - but they also helped me with my back in hydrotherapy - did more than I usually do and felt ok - might have been a bit because I was back in the water too and I loved that Smiley Very Happy
