All the best for this afternoon @Zoe7 - it looks like a very busy time and I hope something can be done quickly for the tooth
Are the pain killers you have helping - if it was like the bruised tooth I had the tablets took the edge off and I would rest that side of my head on a wheat pack that was just warm and that seemed to help - as terrible as it sounded to me at the time I wore both my upper and lower partials and squeaked when my dentist got the lower denture in but immediately that took the pressure off the wisdom tooth at was doing so much complaining from grinding - I hope you get a quick and easy resolution Zoe but I will be thinking of you this afternoon
I had a pleasant walk yesterday - at sunset - it was a beautiful evening but the weather changed - I can feel a daught around my legs right now - cold air is leaking in here
All the best this afternoon

You are right @Adge - it is more that the technical work that takes place - cleaning my computer with professional help took hours - it was incredibly intrusive
And you have had it happen more than a couple of times Adge - that is brutal - aw what!!! On-line life is complex and double-edge
Thanks Adge

The pain killers are taking the edge off a little @Owlunar - it is aching a lot still though. I hope it is just a case of having it filled and not that I will need that tooth out. Will have to wait and see
Stay warm Dec - keep out of those draughts if you can. I better head off and have a shower and get organised to leave in around an hour - takes about 20 minutes to get to my gp in the middle of the day... will check in with you tonight when I get home

Ok @Zoe7 - a filling - I find it better not to have an injection and I hope you can manage that but if you need it - definitely have one - I hope that it is fixed really quickly
I have a doctor's appointment myself - I need to have my lunch - I made enough soup for two days yesterday and it is so think with vegetables I could eat it with a fork
I got a stem-blender that turns everything into a thick broth - with barley - I hope you have something similar today
Catch up later

@Owlunar DO you know if your boy had Foetal Alcohol Syndrome?
I was glad June Oscar won the Naidoc award. Glad there is so much more awareness of all sides of koori culture.
I dont totally fit in with the homeless people any more or the snooty tooties, but I try and relate with all levels. I am lucky to see some goodness high and low and all around.
I saw a beautiful fb video by NSW ed of indigenous primary children singing. Social change is slow, and things are tough now but were far tougher when he was alive and you were parenting him.
Thinking of you my wise owl friend.

Christmas in July would be a Wednesday next week @Former-Member - I am not sure I would be up to hosting it but if I chat to @CheerBear we might be able to organise it beforehand and you and she could possibly run with it on the day - watchya think?
@Owlunar How are you travelling tonight? Been thinking about you all day - except when I was at the dentist - wasn't thinking about much at all then except the pain lol

Christmas in July sounds like a good idea - I would enjoy that - hopefully you are @CheerBear will be most welcome to have happen - it can remind us all the winter is passing and it is a good time to have such fun
I have been okay today - it has been rather sureal - I have had much worse days working up to today and as evening has come in I feel okay.
I decided to by a new phone - it's time to update my contract anyway with new features on my account with my provider - I have been thinking about it - the time has come
Also - one of those things - I had a third of my left-toe-nail pulled off about a year ago I think and the nail has taken it's time to grow out but it is hooked in again - this I could do without but my doctor told me that I could have a medicare plan to see a podiastrist - I am not sure how this can help - after all - it seems the nail is growing like this from the nail bed - aw - I would rather have this than a a tooth out though -
I am taking antibiotics too -

We are antibiotics sisters @Owlunar lol
Ouch though - your toenail sounds like it is painful - at least my tooth is out!
I think @Former-Member is on to a good thing - we were going to do a mid year Christmas last month but CB was at the break place so couldn't do it - I won't do it wihtout her!
So having Christmas in July is a good idea. We were going to do it last year as well but I remember I wasn't well enough - was one of my darker times both physically and emotionally then and I wasn't coping at all well. Hopefully I can spend some time with @CheerBear over the next week to get it organised for everyone.
Do you have any idea what kind of phone you want? I am a Samsung person - don't do anything from Apple!

Yes @Zoe7
Samsung wherever possible - I have had Androids - I don't always know what I am talking about but this smart phone has been really good
It sounds like fun to have a Christmas in Winter Celebrations
My toenail - yes - once a tooth is out it's out - irreplacable though - a toenail grows again - I am not looking forward to the same operation as I had last year - it sits there quietly until I lift my toe up though and it touches the inside of my shoe and I know all about it
Yes - I really do
I looked up sore toenails on-line - I really didn't need to go there
