Thanks for being you.

I am a very average knitter, but have very positive memories of the knitting girls in one orphanage.  Their camaraderie and helpfulness really made an impact on me.  They were in early teens 12-15. I was 8. I was only there for 9 months but they always helped me learn the basics and helped with dropped stitches. It has been many random experiences like that with others that have helped counter my negative stuff ... the kindness of strangers.
