That is all so very hard @Angels333 but also something you can work towards. Right now though it is just about recovery and doing what you need to do. Take eerything else when it coes. You are a fighter and strong Hon so you can get through this but for now just one day at a time

So sorry to hear your situation @Angels333 .
Issues around being safe when driving are huge. I have struggled with it for over 30 years, but mostly made my own calls on it, even when others were discomforted or disbelieved or disapproved. Its a hard one, when mum's are expected to be the chauffeur but all they do .. is also meant to be "invisible".
Take Care

sorry if I have forgotten anyone.
Sorry it's taken so long to post I have been too sick.
After 11 weeks in hospital I finally go home on Saturday. I'll be in a wheelchair while my legs get stronger and my dissociative attacks reduce. My longest was 7 hours total blackout. I've been in the neurology ward of my local hospital and treatment has been good and I'm much better than when I arrived. I was having 60 episodes a day and I'm down to 10 now although some can last a couple of hours. I can walk with forearm crutches for medium distances however because of the risk of falling due to a disassociation I'll be sporting a helmet around the house. The wheelchair is for the community only as my house is too small for a wheelchair, so I'll be on the crutches at home.
I get quite depressed and seem to get suicidal thoughts in the evening but prn is helping.
I'm afraid of going home, and am embarrassed by my dissociative episodes I'm concerned about going out in public.
I hope you have all been well and again forgive me for being so out of the loop
XOXO ANGELS333

Great to hear from you. You do not need to apologise. You have so much going on. It is good that the hospital got onto it properly and seem to be able to advise and treat it. I can only imagine how hard it is for you. I once saw someone with a small scooter thing to use inside when she had leg plaster... not sure if it is relevant.
I do hope there is adequate support and understanding at home. Be Careful and try and give worries about othe opinions of others ... the teflon non stick flick ... easier said than done.
Think small gains.
