@WideWhale320 - good that the train is back on track so to speak
@Queenie - glad the show lived up to your expectations and you enjoyed it.
@Former-Member - such a beautiful gesture - small but so meaningful.

The highlight of my day today was a friend (same one who was my last highlight of the day I think) who called by unexpectedly as we didn't make it to school today, with their partner and a beautiful pot of these

the highlight of my day was having a nana nap this afternoon. Left work early on sick leave, took some pain medication when I got home and snuggled down in bed for an hour. My little dog lay beside me. Beautiful.

Thanks @Shaz51 sometimes a nap like that makes all the difference to my mood...just respite from the pain for a bit..... that's all I need to refresh.....and having my little one in with me is good for both of us.
Last night she was in bed under the covers with me, her little head poking out. And she gave a big sigh of contentment. All was well in our world.
And its a new day - grey but nippy - so after a few chores this morning I'm going to rug up and get out walking to get the blood pumping and to clear my head. Have a great day @Shaz51

My highlight today was walking with my Furbaby by a man made lake, ducks swimming and a small creak. Beautiful trees and a chill in the air. Some moments of reprieve from my overactive brain.
