Good wonderful special Thursday evening forumites! I have some great news that I have to share with everyone of you.
I got approved for a rental property!! My housemate and I checked this property out on Tuesday afternoon after we got the phone call from vcat about the hearing and finding out yesterday that we have 14 days to vacate- 16/2- courtesy of the troublesome property manager of ours. Anyway, we spoke to the real estate agent at our new property and found out that they hadn't been receiving some of our applications for some unknown reason and they gave us their card to let us personally notify them when we had applied for any properties that we liked. Anyhow, this property we saw was gorgeous, we applied and the agent responded saying we'd been put forward to the owner along with several others. I got a text message just before my PARCS interview with several probing questions that I quickly answered and then spent my PARCS interview wondering what was going on. I got out of my interview after being accepted into PARCS at a later date - within the next month- to find a voice message which I listened to with my housemate. Long story short- we're approved and move in on the 15th! I'm so excited it's unreal!
Sorry to ramble on but I've been so stressed with what's been going on with housing that it's really had me concerned. Each of you forumites have been so kind and wonderful with my situation and I value your online friendships very much. So a massive thank you from me to each of you💐😎
