@TAB

I love the thought of lamb shank soup. Never thought to make soup with it. I do have a massive soup pot. Might experiment. Might be nice with a touch of paprika

Re: Best Friends Club

I used to love a chicken roast but haven’t actually cooked one myself.

My husband loves watermelon too. He eats it every chance he gets

Re: Best Friends Club

@Oaktree Margaret River choc mint fudge 🤤 Margaret River milk chocolate

Lindt chocolate if I’m desperate.

Then there’s hot chocolate

I’d be happy in Wonka’s factory 😂

Re: Best Friends Club

basic flavour works better @Oaktree  i do put like a tablespoon of curry powder in it, adds to flavour , but you would never pick it.

my pot is 8 litres prob too big for me 6 would do.

250g soup mix (better if rinse but doesnt matter)

2 shanks

soup veg kit = extra of each veg in soup pack plus another 3-4 carrots, 3-4 celery leaves w tops plus a potato or two. and about 4 onions all up few cloves garlic tonnes black pepper and salt can do a few dift ways,

  • brown meat and onions or not
  • put everything in together  or give soup mix and meat an hours head start.

has to be boiled every day else will  start to go off, pre skimmed as well

@TAB

@Glisten

I love the Lindt balls. Except the dark chocolate ones, I give those to my husband lol.

Re: Best Friends Club

(cook shanks til falling off bone) to state obvious @Oaktree  then chop up and put back in. last couple i got beef bones as well as were very meaty  and like half the price of shanks, didnt hurt
