Today we are going to see our grand daughter in a scan.  My daughter is having a 3D scan and grandparents are invited!!!!

9 weeks to go for the big day!! Can you believe it? only 9 weeks, where has the time gone?

i am so excited  🙂

I will come back on this afternoon and let you all know how the scan went and how clear the picture is.

Can't wait to hear how the scan went @BlueBay. Wouldn't it be great if the mods were able to let the scan be shown on your thread here. The Forums first 3D baby.

The baby was so clear. i could see the face so clearly, her little nose (just like her daddy, her mouth big lips like her daddy) her shape of her face like her mummy, maybe a dimple like her mummy. her forehead like her mummy.  we could see her little fingers next to her mouth as if she was sucking them.  She had her feet up next to her face (don't ask me how!!)

The first thing the guy did was check for girl or boy and the baby is definitely a girl.  YES!!!

Don't have to return any pink clothes 🙂

Her heartbeat is perfect, everything is perfect.  The only thing is that she is in breach position so unless she turns around herself or the doctors try to move her around my daughter may need a c-section delivery.  But she has up until week 34 before they decide on next plan.  She is now 31 weeks.

I can't believe how quick the time has gone.  

After theh scan we went to Baby bunting and her partner bought the cot and we bought the car seat as a gift.  So now they need to buy the change table and that is pretty much it for big stuff.  They will wait for all the little stuff after and see what gifts they will get at the baby shower party in a few weeks time.

Everytime I go shopping now whether it's grocery shopping or general shopping i come home with a baby gift.  Yesterday at Aldi they had baby things on sale so I bought a beautiful crocheted white hat with a pink flower on it.  Couldn't resist.  It was only $6.99.  My daughter just laughs now, she knows what I'm like.

She had her feet up next to her face (don't ask me how!!) -- she will be able to suck her big toe @BlueBay 

she might be the future Gymnasist ( If i can spell the word )

My daughter put a post on facebook with 2 little pictures of the scan.  You can see the face so clearly.  I have been sitting here just looking at the face and crying.  It is bringing me tears of joy and tears of sadness.  Joy because I cannot wait to see this beautiful baby and hold her and sadness because of my parents, because of my dad.  He won't see this baby, his great grandchild, they miss out.  It's their loss.  It has been their choice, or should I say, my mum's choice to have it this way.  It is still sad for them.

My dream of holding a baby girl and the peace and calm in me is coming near, it will happen soon. Oh that dream, how I felt I remember it like it was yesterday.  Reality will be here soon.  xxxoo

this is all so exciting. Its great your able to distinguish some of her features in her parents.
Wow really not long to go now. Where the heck has the time gone hey!
Aww thats cute your going to be an awesome grandmother, well actually already are.
That dream will be a reality in such a short time.

Haha @BlueBay I think @Shaz51 is onto something here maybe she will be a gymnast or maybe a dancer
