You have been very busy Eude...
you have achieved a lot for a warm day..
I have been mainly on the telephone sorting out stuff..
I had no sleep last night as husband repeatedly snored..
So am overtired today...not the best as am also still in weaning off of sleeping tablets process..
tis life..
I hope that you spot some growth where you planted your stone fruit seeds soon...
take care

My moods can definitely fluctuate without warning...
External circumstances have been the major contributor to my mind moods..
This has been going on now for about 8 years...
I have suffered with various symptoms on and off for most of my life since a young girl...
I am now quite self aware of changes....hence the decision to stop the particular strong sleeping tablet..
I recognise anxiety increases....agitation hanging around....confusion...fogginess....and the dreaded depression when that is looming in the background...
This is a help or a start in the right direction as I can report this information to my pdoc who can then better help me ....he can only help me as far as the information that I give him...
hope that makes sense..
Sophia

oh no @Shaz51
You are truly under too much pressure now...
Did you know that you can speak to someone on the telephone at Carers Australia...they can transfer you to someone at Carers Mental Health Australia if you do not have their number..
They can set you up with a psychologist....then of course you do not have time to see one..
I suppose it is about making time for what is important.
The other option you have probably seen written everywhere is gp putting you on a plan paid by medicare to see a psychologist..
That is good news for you and Mr Shaz that he saw a gp who explained how he must take his medication...bless Mr Shaz for doing as he was advised...a bit of a smile there Mrs Shaz?![]()
As for your mum ...falling again must surely bring alarm bells into doctor's head..
Are you aware of the ACAT assessment team? Her gp can give her a referral...
They then ring you and make a time to come out and assess her...given her recent decline in health it might be helpful...
They advise whether or not your mum is in need of 24hours care and if so the process of high priority nursing home comes into force...they explain all of this..
We did this with my mum...who miraculously had not had a fall....was supposed to use a walking stick which she used to carry across her arm like a handbag....of course my pointing out "that is actually dangerous that could cause a fall" went down like a lead balloon...
she progressed to a walker...misbehaved with that until she realised that she basically had no balance...
My mum was very clever at hiding her discomfort and remained independent for as long as she could bless her...
I know that my sister and I will be no different..
Good that you are focussing on kidney and staying in touch with your specialist..
How are you feeling in yourself Shaz?
All very well for me to type away what you should be doing isn't it! I am not the one trying to juggle everyone else's health...
have been in a position where I have been juggling everyone else's needs though....I know that you are familiar with that one too..
what can we do to help you Shaz? ![]()

Hello @Shaz51
I understand what you are saying about your mum and the garden...much trickier than inside..
Good that you already have a psychologist...
specialists often disagree with each other.....
Yes it can get tricky when seeing so many specialists...my sister was in a situation where she was seeing 3 at one time..
Hopefully bit by bit you can reach a place in your health where you can have a better quality of life..
Good idea having a follow up for Mr Shaz....
Do you think that sometimes he feels left out as was so used to having all of your attention for so long...now he has to share you..which might provoke some feelings within him..?
Including support from others for him is brilliant Shaz...as you are letting him see that you are still helping him...at the same time relieving some of that pressure on you..
No need to respond if you are feeling overstretched on the forums as you are a community guide as well..
I know that you appreciate responses..
You are a lovely caring person..
I so wish that thinks start to calm down soon...that other help becomes available for all areas of your life..
take care ![]()
