Re: not feeling good

i know you  dont want to eat but maybe try some dry biscuits or something as it often helps settle the stomach and your migraine mignt be getting better as your hungry even if you done feel it...

what about an ice pack on the back of your neck? or the top of your head?

Re: not feeling good

good idea @Former-Member

youll probably feel it tomorrow @BlueBay though but keep taking pain relief every 4 hours hopefully itll help you

Re: not feeling good

Still have migraine but not as bad as last night. Taking strong pain relief. Feeling very tired and emotional. Think my body is telling me it's time for a break.
Couldn't eat anything last night / smell of food made me sick.
I want to do so many things but can't function.
I'm so stupid for emailing moderator last night. They didn't reply. I don't know why I emailed I guess I needed support at that moment.
Still struggling.
Ok better tell you guys - we bought a house. The one we saw on Monday. It's very exciting. But I'm fk stressed to the max and have been crying a lot.
It's s huge step. I'm scared I never thought this would happen.
Leaving this house will be good but there will be lots of memories. I'm really depressed. My head hurts so much.
I wish I could have spoken to a moderator.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I'm sorry about your migraine - you find stress hard to deal with and maybe the migraine is one way of making you lie down and rest -- but they are horrible I know

It's exiciting you have bought another house - that was so quick!! - wow!!

You will be okay - you can always talk to us - but I guess usually a moderator is rostered on and maybe there was a space or something

All this stuff happening at work and at home is stress - full - I know - I have done the same myself - and without all the other implications you have had in your life

Re: not feeling good

Hi again @BlueBay

I am glad you saw your therapist - of course you deserve to be happy and excited and enjoy your life

We all do - sometimes it's harder that's all

I did not know you had your mother stuffed in the cupboards etc - reminders all the time - I have this brilliant idea - find a safe place and smash the lot - this will get her out of your system - believe me

I did this once in the past - with my own good dinnerware - and this was not at all destructive - just the crockery got smashed - no one got hurt - amazing how that helped

Anyway - what ever you do - get rid of that stuff asap - ahhhhhhhh - your mother sure has her claws in you and I understand that

Lots of hugs

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay I'm sorry that the mods weren't in touch last night. While there is a mod around to review all posts, they are also managing and juggling other situations across the Forums.

This is why it's really important to contact Lifeline, Suicide call back or the other support contacts you have (CAT Team) because they are able to respond to you straight away with one on one support. It's great that you reach out for support on here. Please bear in mind that the forums is a great place to connect with peers, but not for one-on-one support from a mental health professional.
