SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Well the cheapes quote for a new fence (colorbond) that my neigbour got - came in at nearly $5000.

That was quite a shock, $2000 more than what I thought was possible.

I've made it clear to my neighbour that I cannot come up with half of that ($2500).

She seems okay with that, but she wants to go right ahead with it (on Monday).

Oh dear, @Adge, I don't think its that much, make some of your cown enquiries. My last quote for a 2m colourbond up the east side of my 1/4 acre property was only $2,250. Do ya homework, only pay half of what wood pailings would cost. Well, that's what I'd suggest. Home ownership sucks sometimes. I'm having no end of problems here I can't fix re money, and I can't sell and its not up to scratch enough to rent out. I feel trapped.

Got them at the reject shop @Former-Member they are thin and non slip so clothes fit neatly into wardrobe.
I put similar colours together, but split off the winter coats to one end.

Hi - hope everyone is well. I'm pleased with myself today, not for what I have done but for what I haven't done. I must have driven past five garage sales today and not stopped to look at a single one. I keep asking myself "what could you possibly need and can you justify spending money on it? I've been living like I still have a job and even though I got a payout I know I'm going to run out of money eventually and do I really need anything that's on offer at a garage sale no matter how cheap it is? Happy I didn't give into temptation, despite having a teenage daughter saying "oh let's stop and have a look"... I need to declutter not add to the detritus. I hope everyone else is winning the clutter war. Have a good night.

Well done!!! @Former-Member, I know the Garage Sale temptation, and also passing op shops. Not easy but you did it 👍 o work on an op shop but today I didn't bring anything anything home.

@Former-MemberI was struck by your sense of sober reality.  It is huge and normal and healthy to sort through your stuff and slowly make you decisions.

The avatar is perky but also has naturalistic colouring ... lovely..... and yes its a brillliant way to incorporate the different parts of yourself.

I have been away since Wednesday as I have had LOT on.
