Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Ditto my parents' garden. We'll be seeing if we can pass on some of the plants to others. Mum wants us to dig out the magnolia tree and take it with us. It's 5-6 metres tall and right next to the neighbours' fence. Not happening.

Someone has designed the cartoons around me!

I have school projects..baby toys ..their books...priceless artwork

I did not realise how much a hoarder I was..

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

hello @Former-Member

just saw the picture of one drawer at a time..

trust me my home will never look like that....

I also have a very untidy husband....youngest child of 4 children...spoilt rotten..

although when we have an inspection by appointment for sale of the house ...it resembles the everything put away look...but the cupboards and drawers do not look like that inside laugh...

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

I agree @Adge

when I have spent so much time and labour and my garden is starting to take shape and I feel proud...usually sell and move..

then start again...different style..

your dad would have received much pleasure from the garden during those years....remember the garden that way...

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Cleaned a few things our the fridge today, looking a bit better.

@Former-Member @Smc @Former-Member @Adge @Faith-and-Hope

I have finished off one third of the built in robes in our room..

2nd bedroom covered with clothes to be folded neatly..haha..in bags to go to op shop..job for husband..

third bedroom well what can I say...in total disarray

in fact all 3 bedrooms look in total disarray...husband has plonked stuff in the hall in his usual inimitable style of putting whatever down exactly where he is and then leaving it there..

in fact I can categorically state that whole house is in disarray ...

husband's son sells real estate part-time from his other business...we are now going back with him..he is arriving at 9.00 in the morning! husband has gone off to sports club..

so our agent to sell the house is arriving at the crack of dawn and whole house will still be in total disarray..

tough

well done with the fridge by the way...I did throw some stuff out a couple of hours ago..leftovers...also did wipe it out the other day...so thank you darcy didnt think that would count..

@Former-Member

 I think that I have seen that one before...

the road side one with the triangle...

will check it out when it arrives later

hoping that things on the improve in your world...another kind of decluttering...

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Morning @Former-Member and other declutterers ..... whoever is about this morning.

Well I am decluttering in our here-house by buying the sort of furniture that tidies things up pretty fast ..... bookshelves and storage shelves in particular.

It’s solving one problem but creating another one in the process ..... mr.f&h doesn’t want either the clutter (which is needed “clutter” for daily use) or the shelving to keep it in ...... nose is right out of joint at the mo.

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

@Faith-and-Hope mmm, tricky. Would it help him at all if it was closed storage, so therefore not out in plain view? As soon as you add a door to shelves they become more expensive, but perhaps curtains? That could be as minimal as a flat panel of fabric, or even a roman blind.
