SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Today my goals are to move the boxes whch contain the items I am waiting on furniture for; neatly into my spare room .

"So far this morning I have taken 4 large garbage bags of clothes to the op shop. 2 more bags in the bin, wheelie bin full of stuff to burn and that is just my side of the bedroom lol. Children have also sent 2 large bags of toys to the op shop."

I have asked my mental health support person to help me organise and sort through my paper mess.
My ADHD just doesn't seem to work well with organising these things and we are having our first session this week

Fantastic @Awpgirl - now is a good time to get folders, cardboard satchels and the like cheaply if they are needed as the back to school sales are on.

@Awpgirl - did you ask for specific help in relation to your paperwork or was this help offered?

@Jokilet - do you have a mental health support person? They might be happy to help you sort some stuff.

@Former-Member I asked for the specific help.
Firstly I know that I will experience trauma as I go through each box plus I struggle with knowing which documents to keep , which to shred and most importantly a system to manage incoming documents and finding documents when I need them.

It occurred to me that my mental health worker might be able to help me set up a system plus be there while I go through the boxes. There are about 5 boxes in all. I hope that having someone help me with a system and then help me with one or two boxes then I might be able to finish myself.

@Jokilet if you have a mental health worker and need this sort of help lines it can't hurt to ask.
