Hi @utopia - I don't know why the old bugger changed your meds. If something isn't working the first option is to increase the dosage and then if still no effect try augmenting it with a different med to assist - I am guessing that is what your doc is trying. My psychistrist is doing that with me now. I'm up to med number five for the year and what he has given me now to take at night is the first one that has shown promise.
Always a bad plan changing meds when there are significant life changes going on - best to keep everything as stable as possible when there are disruptions in life. I've been on medication on and off for thirty years so I am well accustomed to the joys of withdrawal / tapering up-down / dosage trial and error. My liver must hate me for all the chemicals it's had to process over the years
Do you have to mingle with the seniors or can you hang out with the "young folks"? It all sounds pretty relaxed which is a good thing - you could really do with a rest. Have a good night and take it easy.

Hi all
@utopia @zoe @Former-Member @Kurra @Former-Member @TheVorticon
Hi Utopia, I am so glad to hear that you are now on a ward with a decent psychiatrist who will listen and ensure that your treatment is right for you.
Just do as the medication, your overwhelmed mind and the nurses suggest. Lotsa Doona time and rest.
Many thoughts Bast
