(insert lots of swear words here for @utopia )
That sucks - again @utopia They are totally messed up - I can hear the dialogue now...
Utopia "I have been in hospital and nearly died..."
Centrelink "but in between nearly dying and hospital there was time you could have been looking for work"
Utopia " Only in funeral homes as I was there picking out a coffin"
Centrelink "Well if you had time to choose coffins then you had time to look for work"

Hi @utopia - I don't understand how they can argue with a medical certificate? so if your "injury" isn't temporary then it's permanent and if so you're entitled to a lump sum payment and disability pension is that what they are suggesting? People in these jobs nearly always back down if you give them work to do. I find bombarding them with facts and figures just confuses them and then they just give up. They like to aim for the easy targets and avoid the real ones. Just give them the facts embelished with lots of useless confusing information and you'll find you tend to get your own way. Take care and look after yourself... sounds like you're making some good progress despite the d__kh__ds at centrelink
