Part 3
Day 3 - Friday
Got moved to a different unit in the hospital. So out of the over 65's.
My psychiatrist has worked a miracle. I'm in a single room!!! - workcover doesn't allow single rooms for their patients. So this Lady Psychiatrist has pulled some favours or something.
I'm now on a half dose of the anti-psychotic. The lowest dose possible & on a new AD. By 1pm - I was feeling really doped - so I thought I'd lie down and have a nap. Woke at 7.20pm. Raced to the dining room. Closes at 7.30. No dinners left - but grabbed some premade sandwiches.
Chain smoked. As smoko courtyard closes after 8pm.
Watching a silly movie and starting to feel a bit dopey again. So hopefully it'll be asleep before midnight. Still have a prn sleeper if I need it.
I cried when I went into my new room. It reminds me id a nuns cell - very small. Probably oldest part of this hospital. But I went to the window - pulled the curtains apart & I had a view. Greenery. Different sized plants. Different shades of green. Different shapes of leaves. And I cried and cried. Good tears. Relief.
I'll spend the weekend still relaxing - letting mybrain chill. Then the work begins.

My post @Zoe7 - took me a long time to write. These slow you down / give your brain a break meds - make it very hard to type. Very slow. And most likely boring as. I can feel my meds slowing down my brain right this minute.
I hope you are traveling as well as you can and you are finding more moments of calm within your days.
I'll look through your thread over the weekend. We are due a long chat / harmless gossip/ AWE NUTS! moments. I miss them. But just can't physically or mentally do it now.

When we are both a little more able to cope with 'life' I am sure we will keep the mods on their toes catching up @utopia for now we both know that it is a difficult time for each other and we don't need to be 'talking' to know how much love we have for each other and how blessed we are to be in each other's lives - distance and time are no barriers to friendship my beautiful cocky friend
