Re: Life can be a Pain

I am physically not very well but mentally trying to keep it together @Shaz51 - not easy but doing better than I have done the last few days. Staying connected on here is actually helping me today.

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hugs @Owlunar @Shaz51.
Hi @Wanderer - my mum has CRPS. Is a very strange disorder. She had a soft fall onto thick carpet. The bruising didn't go away so after a month she got it checked out. That bruised area - grows dark hair and sweats - while the rest of the leg is almost hairless and isn't sweating. Very strange like a foreign appendage stuck onto her leg.
How long have you been trying to get diagnosed? It can take so long for doctors to rule out other conditions.
Mum also has chronic fatigue and fibro myalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Her immune system is failing her.
Have you found the same?

Re: Life can be a Pain

@Wanderer. Everyones symptoms are slightly different. But mum has been suffering badly with swelling of the legs for the past 6 months. Seems like almost a constant course of fluid tablets.
My mum was diagnosed quite quickly. She was lucky. A new gp she went to see had experience of CRPS.
Yes it's one thing on top of another for my mum. She is over it all. But as we say here on the forum - no one's journey is better or worse than anyone elses - they are all just different.
What other conditions are they testing you for, for the neuropathy?
