Hi @Owlunar,
thanks for a piece of your resilience pie 🙂 much needed.
My 81yo fav aunt says
"Getting old is not for whipms!"
Just do the best you can Dec, there is no right & wrong in this.
Staying @ home (not residential care) as long as you can is great, & you're doing that
You go girl! lol
Big day here, talk of it elsewhere. Sleep well tonight 🙂

Oi @outlander
I love those owls
They are perfect - thanks for sending them
I am feeling much better today - the idea is fine-tuning and finding the subtle difference between needing to rest and needing to push ourselves - yesterday I took the easy option and it work
Fridays are busy days so I got up early and did my relaxing and watching something I recorded with my coffee etc - and I have some time before the fun starts - sigh - Fridays can be wearing
Sorry but I am not up on what's happening in your life - not that I don't care - yesterday I was writing essays to people and ran out of time - so I can wish you the best with what is making your day harder or easier or whatever and all the best etc -
Thanks for your message - I have lots of catching up to do

Hi @Former-Member
Abraham Lincoln said "It's not the years in our life that matters - it's the life in our years"
I agree with that - when we are having weary and worn out days that can be hard to see and I took the day off yesterday - but in the evening I went outside to bring my bin in and water my plants etc and the sky was full of stars and the crescent moon and I stood staring up and rejoiced - to me this moment was worth paying for with achiness that tires me -
But I really have a thing about counting blessings unless we take not of our tribulations too because they are all part of our life - our day - each minute really. I like living alone and pleasing myself - all sorts of things are interesting - but then - I think I use these things to turn off the discomfort - I have the space to be myself
Gotta post fast today - okay - domestic help is here already - catch ya lata

Hi @Shaz51
I didn't around to everyone yesterday and like most Fridays today was busy
I am feeling a lot better today which is a good thing - sometimes we can all have something on our chest or on our minds - maybe it's a big thing or a small thing - and what I had on my mind - my hidden story is no secret but really personal - sharing it with my therapist has left me feeling a little unsettled but it's really good that I have shared it with someone after but we all have something somewhere I guess
I hope you and Mr Shaz are okay -
Thinking of you - Dec

I hope your day hasn't been over-stressful - I can see you are doing a good job here and feel I need to say something though I am stuck about what -
But you are saying the best stuff and this is wonderful - I really hope things are okay.
Thinking of both of you
