Re: Life can be a Pain

@Zoe7@Former-Member@Shaz51@outlander@utopia

I didn't sleep well last night - and around 5.00am I gave up and played a movie and feel asleep and woke up with a migraine

Aw................I was going to see my daughter today but I had to cancel - I tried to go back to bed but Ms Fluffy Paws got around and in and out and back and forth - gave that up

The headache has eased off but I always feel as if I have been kicked in the head after one of those

So I am not up to date where everyone is and it's really hard to think

So back later when I literally have my head in the right space

Re: Life can be a Pain

Oh @Owlunar, that sounds horrible, get migraine myself occasionally and know how they knock you round. You'll need to take it easy tonight. Surprised it broke through all the pain medication you're on, maybe you should have it checked out. Big owlet hug 💜🌷🌿

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Former-Member

I am nearly always very busy on Fridays - and I had a bad night - and I have been up for a while - I managed to sleep with a movie on for a while - and now I have made a big pot of soup and I am cooking some fried rice with the beef I bought for the soup - and the kitchen gets out of control - it sure does

I get migraine from time to time - not often - and when I have one I find I either toss my medication up with anything else I might have eaten or whatever - if I do get to hold it down it doesn't work as well

I don't need to get it checked out - my old GP - who retired just a good while back - told me I could go to a headache specialist and pay a lot of money and try different medication I already know doesn't work or is dangerous in other ways - so I just get along with it or if it's bad I can have an injection for it - this is allowed by my pain specialist

If I thought there was anything serious wrong I have an alarm system set up here - it's a complicated thing but I have a wrist band with a blue button and I can press that and the agency can talk to me over a radio I have here and they can send an ambulance - the paramedics can get in with a key that is outside in a locked box - I am pretty well set up here -

I saw my GP late yesterday and he probed my big toe with the in-grown toenail - ouch - I did a bit of ouching etc with all of that - I have been on antibiotics for over a week now and I have another week - and then I get to have it fixed with some minor surgery - my father had the same thing with his toes

So I have been busy washing and cooking since I finally joined the human race this morning - I had a bad day with a migraine that could have been worse - but yesterday - so much happening and it is wonderful when people care about me - this has not always been the case

Thanks Lapses
