Groundhog Day - our thoughts and our stories finding our way along the journey

Re: Groundhog Day - our thoughts and our stories finding our way along the journey

Hi @Former-Member 👋

Will try and pop back later.
Nice to hear from you.
Make sure you rest in between.

Thought I’d reply bit by bit @Former-Member
Sorry to hear you hurt your back. 😳
Washing walls is hard work.
I remember doing that when we first moved in this house.
I hope your daughter doesn’t stay with this guy for long.

How was dinner last night? I hope you enjoyed yourself.

Hi @Former-Member  Heart

Sorry for all the deleting.  Sometimes I feel that I write too much personal information on here for the public to read.  Silly me.

Re: Groundhog Day - our thoughts and our stories finding our way along the journey

Hi @Former-Member - I know you would never mean to hurt me. You are a lovely person and I appreciate your post and for thinking of my welfare 😘

I haven't been okay though the last couple of days, not because of the forums but the usual reason - my daughter. She has gone off the rails abit again. Not turning up for work and not contacting us. The relationship with her partner is controlling her - all the signs are there and it unnerved me here in my personal life. But I am getting back on my feet now trying to detach emotionally and not let her bring me down. Somehow it has to work out. She has to learn and I have to let go now 😢. Nothing more I can do but pick up the pieces.

I now understand why you edited - I was a bit daunted at first but can see why now. No problem. I removed a few of mine following posts as being in response they weren't making sense in the thread, and I asked for them to be removed on Monday so there are no gaps; for the thread to flow again. All is good my friend - hope you are doing okay as I don't read other threads except for new posts/members. Sending a warm hug xx😘

I am really sorry to hear about your daughter &-Enigma- 😢 💜

I can imagine how difficult it must be for you to switch off from it all. I hope you are resting today. 😘🌷🌸

Re: Groundhog Day - our thoughts and our stories finding our way along the journey

Thanks @Former-Member. Have been reading the book "The Woman In The Window" which is a really good read and a relaxing distraction. Will do some more sewing soon as well. It really is one day at a time for me at the Monet but feel better than yesterday; - mornings are the worst when I have to really push. Hope all is okay with you and your weekend has been a good one. Thanks for caring 😘💞x

Re: Groundhog Day - our thoughts and our stories finding our way along the journey

That’s good that today is a bit better for you @Former-Member
Yes, a day at a time.
Wish I had something positive to say, but sorry, I don’t.
It’s been an awful day.
So uptight about everything.
