Morning @Zoe7 ..... 👋☕️💕
Guess who’s in the coffee shop ?
My mr. is being passive-aggressive again, My mil is being p-a too, but I won’t go into details about it all .....
these things burn in the moment, but unfortunately they are all part of the mental decline of both of them, so I have to just grit my teeth and work through the pain of it until I reach the point beyond where I recognise that it really doesn’t matter in the overall scheme of things, and can just let it go .....

Will Mr. being away affect your studies @Faith-and-Hope or will the companion you have organised for D2 be able to be with her for those days? I hope with all my heart that your course will not be affected - it is giving you so much joy - especially in times when you have to deal with you MIL being so blatantly offensive. If she is to give you such presents then she could at least not try to 'dress them up' as something they are not - that shows a distinct lack of thought as well as being deceitful Hon - I feel for you so much in that 'relationship' and now to have Mr. going away regulalry - arghh!
On the positive side - it will give S2 a bit more breathing room to not have the constant pressure of Mr. on his back - so I can see that may help S2 get his act together a bit more on his own

Mr’s days away are worked around my uni hours for those three days @Zoe7. I can work with this. It’s still managable.

You can whinge away to me anytime @Faith-and-Hope - and while it is disruptive I know you will handle it with your usual grace and dignity Hon
Having Mr.s days away worked around your uni days will help you to relax a little in those days too I suspect so maybe it will work out for a win for everyone Hon
Your MIL is another matter - but you know what she is doing and as hurtful as it is you can at least hold your head high and not let it get to you too much - it hurts but is not unexpected from her - you are the better person in all this by not reacting @Faith-and-Hope

Hi @Former-Member How are you doing today Hon?
I have hydrotherapy soon and am actually looking forward to being back in the water - I have to take it easy though because of the removal of my tooth. I can take it as easy as I like though and the physio doesn't push me more than I can handle so that is good.

If I can view it like a bee sting @Zoe7, then removing the stinger, the welt will subside by degrees. Speaking out when I have been stung helps to remove the stinger .....
You are more support in this than you realise, you and my whole forum family .....

That is lovely to know - If I can repay you for even a small part of the times you have helped me then I am more than happy to do so @Faith-and-Hope
Would be nice for you to not have to deal with those bee stings though Hon - that is my one wish for you but also know that will not happen anytime soon so lean on me as much as you need - sooo happy to be here for you
