@Zoe7 I’ve done evetyone. Just need to wrap them up.
I need to buy food and I’m stressing everything is expensive. I’m not cooking traditional Christmas lunch. I don’t know I get very overwhelmed with it all. I get so emotional.

Half of it is done @BlueBay The presents are bought and they can be wrapped at any time. I am sure the family will love whatever you do for christmas lunch - so try not to get too stressed. It is good that you have a week left - that will help you get it organised. What are you having for lunch?

My mum said she will make pasta sauce. All I need is the pasta.
Im going to cook some fish dusted in spicy flour and lightly fry. Will have that with a few salads. I have a small ham I bought last week.
Dessert will be little tarts filled with vanilla pudding and strawberries on top.
Breakfast with the kids will be - scones with jam and cream. Fresh fruit and the boys are buying crossants as well.
We will be so full by the end of the day!!!

I got to the end of your story about today @Zoe7 -certainly busy and your Nan's anniversary - not an easy day - and then fun tomorrow with Toby's birthday - I think a fog can get the idea of treats and fun - the thing about cats is they are really hard to entertain - but love snuggles - I love cat snuggles
So school is finishing up this week - and you have actually been back in the class room - and actually been teaching and doing all the planning necessary and this has to be a good feeling to have achieved all fo that - you have done really well
I had a migraine today but the doctor gave me a shot for it - such a relief - I was not surprised to have a migraine eventually after all that has been happenng - and there were other things as well
The chat we all had on Saturday afternoon and then again yesterday was so helpful - I really needed to have that kind of support - and so did @Shaz51 I am sure. It's really wonderful the way people rally around when someone is down - it was something I shall remember and treasure - thanks so much
All the best with your last teaching session for this year - and I am so proud of you for going through with all of this - well done

Thank you @Maggie and @Owlunar and hello to everyone passing through this thread...
I have woken up early - even before the alarm - and am spending a little time with Toby before I get ready for work. I have sent off the planning for today and printed off what I need - it should be a pretty easy morning but this class is quite volatile at times so I will need to be on guard the whole time. I am looking forward to the assembly though - especially to see who of the grade 6s get awards ...they were my last class I taught - I had those kids when I got sick so am really interested to see how far they have come.
I need to get a couple of things after work if I have time otherwise it will be tomorrow after appointments.
I hope everyne has a good day or at least some light in your days.
Catch you all tonight

Hi @Maggie Toby has taken himself off to his bed in the spare room (he has beds everywhere lol) He knows I am going off to work soon the smart little cherub. He looks so sad when I leave but ever so happy when I come home - that is something worth living for - the excitement from him when he sees me return ...it makes my day
I hope Mags does the same thing for you too - our fur babies are such wonderful comfort for us.
I need to head off to work so will catch up with you tonight. Hope you have an ok day Hon
