A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

@Emelia8 thinking of you hon, hoping today goes ok for you 💌💌💌

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Here for you Em @Emelia8

I'm sincerely sorry you are in so much discomfort and pain, plus the added anxiety until you get your test results. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that the results aren't indicative of bone cancer. And your GP can provide you with something for the pain. xx🦋💖

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Dear @Emelia8 ,

it is awful that you are in so much pain, has your Dr referred you to a physio?

as I recall your breast cancer had not spread to lymph nodes?  So hopefully it is unlikely to have spread to bone.  I will be thinking of you all day and sending you love.

but I understand you worrying about it, I worry about it too.

how is your little Holly?

it is a miserable grey day here in The West, this weather really gets me down.

Peri 🙏🌻

my SIL said i looked soo sick yesterday

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Yes @Peri, I have been seeing a physio for the past month, with no real improvement. That's correct, there was no evidence of spread to lymph nodes when they did sentinel node surgery. But that doesnt mean it hasnt spread. My husband had sentinel node biopsy too when he was first diagnosed with melanoma. It showed no spread, but 12 months later it was riddled through both lungs. So you never know for sure. I think its unlikely that mine has spread to bones, but its still concerning.

@Shaz51 ... thanks for the hugs. I am sorry to hear that your SIL thinks you look so sick. Do you feel sick?

Just an update for everyone ... I was on the phone to my GP receptionist half an hour ago. The results have not yet come in. So I am forced to wait.

My GP has given me a script for stronger pain relief ... an opioid which is typically used for short term relief of severe pain. I'm reluctant to use it though ... as that class of drug send me a little batty.
