Oh yuck @outlander. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Imodium usually works well. Take care.

Hi @outlander
I think it's better to sip some lemonade - or go to the chemist and get some stuff that you can put into the freezer and suck which will replace your electrolytes
What rotten bad luck to get a gastro-bug - something I really hate - yes - I know everyone hates it but it is among my favourite "hates"
I am glad you are still here - I was reading the forum last night - feeling flat - and I understand what you were writing about reading some posts and I so understand that - it's why I don't have much to say when I am not up to it - and sometimes don't even come into the forum
I know it's a support group - and a lot of the time we feel as if we "should" be supporting people - but there are times when we just can't do that.
So it's better to stick to the social groups - and not read something that seems as if it is too hard for us - because in reality - it is too hard at times
You're doing well - fitting back into your life again - that can't be easy
Even though I haven't been writing I have been reading - I know what has been happening and I wish you all the best.
Pity your mother is dropping family therapy sessions - she needs it big time - stick to your guns though
Lots of virtual hugs and stars for what you have achieved

I know you don't like going, your sick to death of them . . . but it might be a change going to see a Doctor about a gastro bug? Dec's right, there's these ice-block things that help to hydrate you and perhaps you could keep that down as it goes in with less volume of fluid? Take it as easy as you can @outlander
