@TAB @Former-Member @MDT @Zoe7

I'm applying for the NDIS, for mental health. I got rejected now it's going through a review so I can get an advocate...that worries me so much, I can't even shower myself.    Mr Angels does most of the housework and my son T is my full time carer, but I need a support worker my family are exhausted.

Thanks for sticking to the guidelines @Angels333. I trust you will reach out if there is anything else you need.

Re: Self Harm

I'm so sorry to hear that @Angels333. I can understand why things feel challenging at the moment while you wait for the support you need and deserve. I'm sure you're already onto it, but I came across this if it's of any help https://disabilityadvocacyfinder.dss.gov.au/disability/ndap/. From some of my experiences with NDIS, getting an occupational therapist to complete a functional capacity assessment can strengthen a NDIS application, along with as many support letters as possible. I recognise it's such a lengthy process for people. Hopefully you have someone helping you with this journey.

Re: Self Harm

Aahh @TAB Alcohol yes I suppose it's both isn't it.    I've been drinking in the morning the last two weeks,  yesterday I had some rum at 7am and I was so sick..   I have to stop that monster also....   so many issues I have Tabbycat

Re: Self Harm

Yes @Former-Member  thanks.   I am waiting for my OT assessment next month but it's expensive and I've lost my job @TAB  yep I had to resign from the pool unfit for duties or some crap!
