Hearing your frustration @MDT. I'm sorry work isn't going so well, but glad you've found a supportive colleague. I'm wondering what there is you could do for yourself to get through as you countdown to what I'm guessing will be a bit of a break from work? Have you got something nice planned for when you've finished up for the day?

Hi @MDT
Just a quick check in to see how things are going for you. I'm spending some time at the library before going to look at a rental property shortly. My problem at the moment is I look at properties but my housemate/friend and I get distracted and forget to put In for them and they end up going. We've also got the problem where our current property was taken over by a different agency halfway through the lease with the old agent doing a 3month inspection back in February and the new agency taken over in August. The guy managing the property now is an idiot who likes to threaten us by saying he always wins at vcat yet still won't produce receipts and lies to us. Anyway, we're just going to list the old agent first as the reference since she was half decent and should help us get a property more than him. It doesn't help that my sister knows the owner as they work in a different department to her in the city and he may have lost his job due to drink driving which he's not allowed to do as part of his job conditions and therefore, he'll do anything to keep the bond. That's enough of my stuff though. Sorry to carry on!
As for the case manager stuff, try looking at Seek as they reckon you can do a TAFE course in community services to become a case manager. I'm doing a uni degree in psychology and sociology and will major in disability and aged care so case management is just one subject I've got to study in 3rd year. My degree is entirely online so that's perfect for me. Maybe do a google search and see what you find.
Thanks by the way for giving me some new authors to explore as well. You seem to be very diverse in your reading and I admire that in a person. It's great to see different people reading different things. I still have a book I know of called Anna Karenina?- a classic- to read and I think Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe did a movie on that or something else that I want to read after seeing it years ago at the movies. I've also got a copy of War and Peace in my collection that I'd love to try and get into.
Talk later!

I'm actually really intrigued by that novel idea @MDT! For me, creative writing has been an incredibly therapeutic tool for release.
