My grandmother taught me to play the piano - I have never had a formal lesson in my life but when I had a piano I played classical and well enough to play at musical evenings - and I miss that
Not that long ago I got an electronic keyboard and although I have lost my early abilities I can play by ear and do - and enjoy myself
But more interesting story is how I came to learn to play the guitar
I was teaching CRE to Second Graders and I had to teach them a song and sang unaccompanied - and a little girl in the front row turned red and covered her face and her face hit the desk and her embarrassment was so obvious I thought I have to avoid this happening again
So I bought a guitar and by the next week I had three chords and learned more as time went on and it was fun and the kids loved that guitar - I think I was the only CRE teacher doing that - I was popular with it -
But my fingers are too arthritic now to play and how I miss it -
Being a musician was a huge part of my life and I could do it because Gran insisted on me learned - she had other grandchildren but I was the only one she taught and I am the lucky one - not that I thought so in the beginning

My favourite thing to do is listen, sing, & dance, to Music! I listen to music all day, if I have spare time. Even while I do things most times. While in Sane Forum I have Youtube playing in the back ground.

This song was given to me by my ex as a surprise. I cried when I listened to it, & have never forgotten how special I felt. Romance & Love is very healing for me. Only if given from the right person, & sincere.
