OOH, excellent!
I have to go do some things elsewhere, but I will be back to add my Curried Egg Toast to the list over there. Thank you @Faith-and-Hope I'll tag you @Phoenix_Rising when I do it. 🙂

I had a couple of highlights today ☺ One was our neighbour coming out with a cold can of soft drink for me while I was mowing their side of the nature strip. It was so appreciated as I was completely cooked in the sun. Our exchanges are interesting as English is not their first language and I love that we can still find ways of communicating beyond spoken words.
The other was this whiteboard note from one of mine from overnight, which gave me a giggle trying to work out what the heck it meant this morning. Apparently the cats were really loud and the water jug clipped their finger (and they needed to let me know about it as soon as I woke up)!
☺

The highlight of my day was going to college with all my classmates. This time last year such a thing would not have been possible as I was hospitalised for a month and things were very chaotic in my life. I am thankful (perhaps I should've posted this in the gratitude thread?) I have the opportunity to study and am taking each day as it comes. Some days (like today) are okay, others not so.

My highlight yesterday was that I did some shopping for D2 last week .... then became confused about some items that I couldn’t find .... then worked out that one bag of my shopping that day hadn’t come home with me ..... then worked out that I didn’t have the foggiest where the receipt might be to try to chase it up ..... then rang the store anyway .....
The gorgeous store manager listened to the story, took details of the missing items, found their copy of my purchase receipt which identified the sizes of the missing items and their code, so she knew exactly what they were ..... then told me she would need to discuss it with someone. What she did was counted the physical stock in the shop. The items I had said were missing were excess to their stock in exactly those items and sizes, so somehow they had accidentally not been bagged up, and had been returned to the sales racks.
She has put them aside for me to collect.
What a sweetheart ❣️
