I know @TAB, must be so awful. My dentist offered the option of gently teasing it out or a massive yank. I chose the first option. It was somewhat painless between injections but she was very considered with the way she drew my tooth. She did not want to hurt me. Finally could feel something break off then in the next few pulls it came out. That was a surprise. Fingers crossed for you. Dental is never nice is it? I used to have lots of extractions as a child as my teeth were crowded and lots of orthodontics. It was long time ago! I went in panicking as an adult! lol

@TAB daunting thoughts. Youre going to have to do a Geronimo. My last tooth was in shards and she was picking at the gum pulling out pieces. That was my wisdom tooth. Had a friend who had their dentist put their knee or something over her chest to hold her down too to yank it out. I thought that was a bit rough but thats what she told me. I just hope you will be allright today. Good luck G-E-R-O-N-I-M-O

Well done @TAB congratulations on that. You did it! You can tick it off your list! I was concerned about the outcome. Don't drink or eat hot things and no caffeine or alcohol - you don't want dry socket. Mushy foods for you for the next week. Did the dentist send you home with a list of things to do and not to do with the care of your extraction site?
