@Former-Member feel free to ask me questions about NDIS if you want. I've done so much reading about it and am in social media groups about it so I have gathered quite a lot of information over the last 4 months. Even tho it's frustrating me I do think it's worth persevering, jumping through the hoops, and would encourage you to try. What things do you need help with? Have you looked at the NDIS price list? It's a good way to see what is possible and also helps work out your needs and goals.

@outlander Your mother doesn't have the right to deny you treatment if you are 20. But I understand if you live at home it must be very difficult to get treatment independently. Feel for you.
NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Scheme. If you google it there is a ton of information available. There is also a "Q&A Info Session//Ask your NDIS questions here!" thread on these forums. I'll go to that page and tag you so you can see it.

Oh no @outlander, that's awful! Not to mention dangerous. Apart from not having that support, stopping meds cold turkey can be scary. Do you have anyone else who can help you? Are you able to contact your psychiatrist and explain what is happening? Or a GP or something? Even psych triage at your local hospital? I'm so sorry you're in that situation.

@outlander try to see a Dr as soon as you can and tell them what your mother has done. I think it's abusive and probably not legal for her to deny you treatment. You are over the age of consent.
