I bought Seafood Noodles tonight (1 day late) - As a Belated Birthday Dinner.

I had no energy yesterday (Birthday) - So things did not work out.

I could not/ did not go anywhere for my Birthday - After usual 40km round trip, into City for Appointment.

So if I can Go anywhere, or Do Anything Special - It will have to be later in the Week.

In Competition with St Patrick's Day (17th).

Yes I was given lots of lovely Birthday Wishes on Forums.

Virtually none in person, not even a phone call from any of my 4 brothers (Upsetting).

So Forum Birthday Wishes made up for lack of ones in person.

Whilst keeping Holy Anonymity - I will just say that I'm NOR.

There's always been this Strange North/ South Divide here - I remember ex-friends Snobbing their Noses at me, because they lived SOR....

My NSW friend (for 35 years) said that he finds it "comforting to hear my voice on the telephone" - We only ever have phone contact.

How's that for a compliment? I don't think anyone's ever said that to me before....

I remember you mentioned NOR before. Which even in this tiny city encompasses a massive area right? Our suburbs are so fast growing I don't even know some of their names.

I grew up NOR closer to the city. Strangely now I'm SOR. It wasn't a conscious choice, more a matter of how things played out.

Do you still think there's still that north/side divide anymore? I'm not so sure there is. I feel it's more a suburban divide- like 'oh you come from....?'.

I haven't heard much mention of NOR/ SOR Divide recently @Sans911 

So maybe there isn't anymore.

It was very noticeable, people stated it strongly - When I came here in the 1990's.

Yes it covers a Huge area, you are right.

I hear more of "Oh that's a rough area" - "You live there?", When I mention my Suburb.

Used to be entirely a Public Housing (Homeswest) area, decades ago.

Was one of the few areas where I could afford to live - one of the poorest.

Was once mid-outer suburbs - Is now mid-Inner suburbs.

Yes I do keep nice Compliments (like yours) Tucked away for a Bad day....
