@Former-Member, other than what I learned from my ex-psy, I am otherwise self-taught too. There is much to be said for the self-taught. It carries a natural affinity for a field and inbuilt drive.
I wasn't enjoying the course, to be honest. Some teachers were good, others were abominable—and at university level? It just goes to show how standards have dropped. Whether it has to do with moving online, overseas students or it just being a money-grabbing exercise, I don't know. It certainly wasn't of the standard I was expecting. There was such a mix of personalities that it seemed that it was they who should have been receiving psychological counselling. They were lost and, in the end, I resorted to just teaching myself without the awful, videoed lessons.
How far I advance with my self-directed path now...who knows? I've gained more knowledge in the past weeks or so than I could ever gain in a course. This way, one thing leads to another, and it all follows. Theirs is 'non-linear' as they say.
Well, another week begins, and another month and season. Here's hoping for good things.

Plus. I took tunnel under railtracks there and back; it comes out right at the post office , so i was pretty much invisible. Maybe I am a bushranger @Former-Member jk lol. Got to see some wagons getting shunted in rail yard too. so. cool . so 1900 steps, and tested new oximeter which would say O^2 very slightly down and pulse was up to 105 ha ha guess I slothed since did that day w 5000 steps lol

Yeah those oximeters need to read at the 90-95% mark to be good levels @TAB , I hear you about staying invisible, but like to peak my head out every now and then.
good luck with the big town visit. I’m working from home today, trying to get things moving, will see a specialist today, but nervous, getting laser eye surgery so yeah
