No - I was lucky - I went out just as it was starting to spit and most of my clothes are dry enough to hang on the airers in the lounge for today - except my socks - which are still pretty damp

It's great when people are on line at the same time - I agree - I sometimes read things people wrote a couple of days back and it's off-topic to try and answer unless it's important

I am taking antibiotics for my infected toe-nail bed - they make me feel a bit icky - a lot icky yesterday - but my toe is healing up at last. It is hard to know what "normal" might be like after 4 weeks taking antibiotics and fighting an infection but the end is in sight - how great is that

Ah - just wash your undies - I always make sure I have some in packets yet to open in case of bad weather going on and on - but the reverse cycle A/C in the lounge works really well at drying clothes - excecpt maybe my sports socks which I wear in winter

Hello Dec,

I'm glad your battle with your big toe is almost over. I've had a few infections in my day, I think sometimes it's much worse than the injury, because it just goes on and on. I think the anti-biotics are worth the icky feeling so it clears it up much quicker. 4 weeks is a long time though, I think it would have been super bad without them!

@Niqueeta1Good morning to you & everyone in Forum Land. It's a sunny, but cold start here in Western Australia. Not sure what I'm doing day but a work shift this afternoon would be nice. My house mate and I are going to the cat shelter tommorow to find a new kitty to bring some love and joy to our home. I'm excited but apprehensive. I just want things to be right and go smoothly.
