Re: Good Morning!

No wind here today, for once @Owlunar . Just beautiful sun. Meant to hit 19. Woo hoo.

The hospital gave me antibiotics, as I wasn't allowed to go to the chemist and get some. Had to isolate until negative covid came back.

By the time I took my 2nd dose of 2 tablets before bed, my throat didnt hurt anymore. Still have a lot of pus this morning. Had to go and rechange original word I mispelled which was another name for kitten but starting with the letter P. Lol.  Still struggling with larangitis. But feeling healthy otherwise.

How awful to be sick on your birthday. That or Christmas must be the worse times.

The protesters had a lot of "rent a mob" people there. They went there with the intention of violence. Lock em up.

Enjoy the rest of your day in the sun, maybe try to find an area a bit protected from the cold wind.

I had a pentium 166 with 33k phone modem for computer in 1997 when started uni lol @Owlunar @MDT  used to take like a minute to download 100kb file lol

Re: Good Morning!

Now here's a Good Protest Sign - That's me holding that Sign (just kidding)

The Most Hilarious Protest Signs Ever

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB

Of course - you are in WA - regional too - and not under restrictions at this stage - I would be wondering "when" too - this Delta thing is very infectious

I hope it does keep out of WA though - I could get a passport now - I am fully vaccinated - it was no trouble to get at all for me here. Astrozeneca - not a problem - I didn't even feel a sore arm - I could easily have forgotten I had it.

I was lucky - I went to my doctor for an antihistamine injection for a spider bite and he had a vacancy on the following Monday - someone had cancelled - and that was my first one and the second one was 12 weeks later - no waiting at my clinic - they are well organised there with a lot of people turning up with appointments from other places - not just local patients -

And I am in favour of everyone - EVERYONE - who can have the vaccine unless they have other health issues - even people in WA - after all - even if we get passports to travel interstate there will be people thinking it's okay to be sneaky - uumph!!!! - let's hope they can't get through the desert to easily - eh!

I hope your health does improve enough for you to go after the megabucks - a better job anyway. I am glad you didn't have to eat into your savings. I have had to but not seriously - no interest for anything saved now - that is pretty desperate - I am on a part pension which isn't enough - but I am okay - that is financially - I have to have more done on my shouder and I will need to email my specialist about this tomorrow - not that I think much will happen with elective surgery atm - still - I need to get my name on the list

It's very warm and windy in Melbourne - and we already have blossom trees

Enjoy the rest of your day if possible

Re: Good Morning!

main issue with appointments and wait times is being in the country I think @Owlunar  am waiting to here from latest specialist and am on another wait list for something else, also nothing heard.

if I could be bothered, have found out that if ask the right person at the hosp they will tell me upcoming appointments before I get sent a letter in post like they usually do.

thanks re job, its not straightforward, would have to lie on medical etc, but I could be doing something about preparing for it (mean its actually a physical) have to do cardio, planks, weights , pushups  etc etc

am taking super out as am old enough, but it seems to be keeping pace with withdrawals as have put a lot of it in high risk stuff lol so that helps being on dole

yeah seasons are a lot earlier here in someways, been almond blossom for weeks already and harvest finishes before christmas here. Am from SA originally.

Thanks and thanks for chat. hopefully I get motivated to get outside, it seems pleasant out there

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Adge

I love the sign - I wish it was me holding it too but then - I hate crowd esp now

I have been vaccinated twice but still would have to isolate for 14 days if I was caught in a Tier 1 exposure site - not a nice thought at all

Anyway - I am looking for something suitable in clipart about signs

Re: Good Morning!

nice to see you @utopia  supposed to be 18 here today, been around 24 last few days

Re: Good Morning!

That sounds very complicated @TAB  - all the best with all of it

Of course - you are two hours ahead of us in WA - you have lots of afternoon left to get out and enjoy the weather

And you have a very early spring too - I would like that - Perth is one place I am thinking of visiting if I ever get around to flying again - I am not getting any younger and for some reason my last birthday is the one that has made me feeling very over-the-hill

Great chat - I'm glad to hear from you

Re: Good Morning!

prob am making it complicated by trying to do things I shouldnt be eg job @Owlunar  just a waiting game re appts and doesnt mean I have to literally sit on lounge and wait though lol

yes, I dont realise how old I am until I do , then it can be a bit confronting. Prob would be able to fly now if not in vic and lockdown. I was supposed to be on plane to Adelaide for job this week. Had to apply to enter, was told to say essential worker, but site never asked me that, just said business, returning or holidays and it was approved.

Think if do go have to quarantine coming back, which employer was trying to fudge over, they said job was 3weeks on 1 off, but 6 days on 1 off if required, so if cant get flown to point of hire for break would be stuck in outback SA for 4 months no wonder they cant get people lol

thanks for the chat
