Re: Gardens

That's how I got 99% of my succulents @Dimity haha the chocolate solider is actually the only succulent I've ever bought!!

Re: Gardens

@Jynx   I noticed couple of them are types of kalanchoe, definitely food for thought.

with having some that flower I like the idea of having some plants just for their distinctive, different colour or shaped leaves

Re: Gardens

Does kalanchoe denote the succulents that once they flower, they die (only suvived by their chicks, right? and will occasionally flower when distressed) @Patches59 ?

Re: Gardens

Haven’t heard any of that @Jynx

There are different types of Kalanchoe.

your Chocolate soldier is type of Kalanchoe.

Kalanchoe that I planted 1 year ago have grown in size, flowering more than once in that time, these are Kalanchoe blossfeldiana

As far as I know, some Kalanchoe produce flowers and others don’t.

Im thinking of visiting nursery I know of, see what they have plus have chat with one of their staff

In the photos you took, think you have more than one type Kalanchoe

Re: Gardens

@Patches59 same pretty much, except that they're difficult to take care of. But the range of colours is what made me think of em!!

Also... they're.... butt plants, no? 🤣

Re: Gardens

@Jynx @Dimity

I’ve bought 6 little succulents, type suggested by lady at plant nursery.  They currently have sale on which was bonus. 😀  they also advised planting at least 2 in one pot will help limit number and size of the rosettes each plant will produce.

photos taken with different app than you use @Jynx

I prefer the app you use. 🙂
