Thanks for explaining your reasons for not walking away from the marriage, even though he seems to have in most respects. You really have thought things through clearly. Its a 'no win' situation either way, and I've lived that conflict that comes from walking away from a controller - it was catastrophic to us, and the legal system wont help or care if you cope.

Remember the self care and being your own best friend stuff - so important. That new studio will sure be therapeutic. Look forward to you posting more beautiful photos, like the Stepping Stones - love that one, and be good for your grown BDs. You're a good wife, and such a good mum, proud of you, chin up. I really have no explanation @Former-Member ..... so gobsmacked ..... and this is the GARAGE ..... as in his pride and joy spot for car city ..... 😳😦🤔:face_with_rolling_eyes: ..... nope ...., can't work out why it has done a sling-shot .....

And probably the weirdest part is that I was fantasising for months about how great it would have been to have that space if he wasn't hogging it all with cars ......

Just go with the happy I think @Faith-and-Hope. Leave the confused to me :face_with_rolling_eyes:. It really is good. It just feels like perhaps he is beginning to understand how much you support your family and him. It might take a while and I don't think it's necessarily a step in acknowledging his stuff but I think he is appreciating you and the kids. He's probably had a few very small wake up calls lately. And now that I've done Teej's analysis, just go with it is what I think you'd tell me. 😘💜🤗
