Good morning Sophia, the photo looks lovely, I am an animal lover. I have adored animals of all kinds, all of my life, & always will, adore them. The animals in the photo look safe, & healthy, & content. The photo's/pictures, are what help me to feel good about living, & make my day a better experience.
Love & Hugs!
Bella xo 🙂
P.S
I hope you are having a good day, & recovering well. @>-->--->------------- a rose.

@Sophia1
So glad you like the garden angel, hope it gave you a little smile & a tingle of warm
feelings Sorry to hear about your worrying times with a family member, I hope
everything works out Ok
I haven't moved for nearly 20 years, but before that I did it a lot & I know it's
horrible, exhausting, stressful & just generally unpleasant. Though when I was much
younger it did have a little of that joy of fear, of the unknown, of change, of the
possibitity that things might be better 😉 Which might be exactly what Sassy & friend
are feeling 🙂 They'll know something's going on, that's for certain 🙂 & what better
thing to do when you have an outside visit than dig! Perhaps the seedling simply got
in the way of China 😄 Good on Sassy for getting a birds eye view of everything that's
going on 🙂 It's funny how cats seem to know more than you think, it'll be the worst
possible time when you won't know where she is!
I feel for you facing unsurmountable tasks in so limited time, I have been there & know
how important watching your plants grow can be! at times like that, it's far more
important than socializing Hugs for the tears
I finished the netting on the house yard & it's been wonderfully successful with the
little dog. He seems to have gotten over most of the crying, though it's still a bit much for him when I return from being out without him {which isn't very often}. I'm waiting until the beggining of next month to send a little reminder text to the local fencer, by then I'll have all the materials I said I would, together {I'll be getting the last 1500m of plain wire this week}, it'll still be 300m short & I'll need a couple hundred more meters of barbed wire, but the fencer is aware of that & it's all part of the quote. I'm really looking forward to having it done & having a real gate to enter my very own enclosed area, 20 acres I sincerely hope my staffy will be able to run off lead around with me 🙂 😄
Be gentle with yourself, the move will happen & you will settle in your new home
Thank you for thinking of me & sharing with me
Love to you

good morning @eudemonism@outlander@TAB@Exoplanet@Former-Member@Zoe7@Owlunar@Maggie@Teej@Bunniekins@CheerBear@Adge along with anyone else who would like to be tagged..
I have been thinking about a community garden...
what would you like to be able to eat from a community garden shared by us all?
Vegetables...herbs mainly...some smaller fruit examples...
I currently have small sweet bite tomatoes...baby capsicums...chives...nasturtiums ....silver beet in my new garden..
I should like to learn about the best way to plant baby potatoes....sweet basil (mine always dies)....avocadoes...vietnamese mint (mine also died in previous garden)
If someone has knowledge on growing organic....the following would be helpful
types of soil..
soil preparation..
suitable for pots or garden beds or both...
morning sun...afternoon sun...full sun...full shade...
snail bye bye...healthy alternative...not chemicals
in a pot on an inside windowsill..
any tips and hints for people starting out..much appreciated....
I have also grown common thyme..white rosemary...purple rosemary...sage...french lavender in the past...
if we can all attempt to grow one thing in a pot or in a garden
here is my first wish to grow and find in a garden centre
dill

@Sophia1 I have a potted herb garden that I am growing for myself and @Faith-and-Hope. It is only small at the moment but have planted seedlings as well as seeds. As yet there is nothing coming up from the seeds but with the increase in dylight hours and sun they should be popping their heads up soon.
I used to grow a lot of herbs in a mini hothouse - they thrived on the heat and needed plenty of sun - sweet basil was one of my main herbs that grew in the hothouse - plastic coke or any soft drink bottles cut and wrapped around seedinggs works well like extra small individual hothouses.

Thank you @Zoe7
Did you use any special potting mix or mulch ?
With the cut plastic bottles...do you bury all of the plastic or keep the plastic above ground to absorb the sun?
what about snails?
I am going to research mini hothouses now...
oh dear I have thousands of questions as usual...
I do want this place to be a reference point for anyone starting from scratch...perhaps not ever having grown anything before ...
Husband drinks orange juice so I could use that...
I shall put it on the shopping list and then pester him to hurry up and drink it all..
thank you for helping
