Hello @Zoe7
I have had varying size gardens over the years and all have turned out differently...
I love gardening...the size does not matter....
we have a community centre that offers cuttings..works on a trust...share basis...
I don't use it...a friend told me about it...
I have given cuttings to friends and had some given to me in return....
nice to have something given....planted in your own garden...watching it grow and providing you with memories of something shared...

I have always loved having a garden @Sophia1 I hada small veggie patch in the garden of the flats I used to live in and lots of potted flowers on the deck. It is so nice having my own place and being able to grow my garden as I like. I am really excited about starting my veggie patch again but it has to wait until a few other things are done around the place - money is an issue just at the moment. When I am back at work I will be more able to afford to prepare the garden for a veggie patch (the space I have needs to be built up before I plant anything).
Sounds like you are ready for bed - goodnight @Sophia1

Hi @Sophia1 How are you?
The lady I met on the weekend does want to see me again, in a few weeks.
That hasn't happened in a long time, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks very much @Owlunar
I was married, but I've been single for 8 years.
I gave up on dating years ago.
I'm trying to give it another go - mainly with social connection in mind, & the chance of finding a relationship.

That is wonderful news @Adge
Have you worked out where or what you will do?
or are you having telephone calls in between to work out the finer details?
Something to look forward to...
In the meantime I hope that all is well in your world...or as best as can be for most of us....

I was married for a long time @Adge
And I have been alone for even longer
Sometimes I see someone I might be interested in but I really don't know how to let him know or if I could manage such a relationship now - I am so used to my own ways
I guess this happens as we get older so I understand it can be a hard step to make and there are uncertainties with everything
But when I look inside I would take the chance with the right person
So I do think if you feel it's time to try again then try - sure it's scary
I'm on your side
