rough time

Re: rough time

Yeah i had someone drive me home. Ill pick up my car a little later on when things have settled down. @Owlunar
That hasnt happened before. She said i didnt look well when i walked in and i gave a new meaning to going white and green!. At least its done and the dr cleared me to go home. I didnt look or anything it just hit like a sack of potatoes said i felt sick and that was the end of it.
Im feeling abit better now that ive had a cup of tea though

Re: rough time

Thanks @Former-Member
I just had a cup of tea and feel abit better. Ive never passed out before. I usually get nauseous but once its done im ok. I see the go next Tuesday arvo for my results.

Re: rough time

sorry to hear you passed out @outlander
take it easy on yourself today
at least the test is done yeh?

Re: rough time

A cup of tea - yes - that works for a lot of people @outlander - I really don't like it but coffee - ah yes - I am about to drink mine right now

When I was a teenager I passed out from blood tests - maybe that still has and effect and why I focus on anything and everything but when I am getting blood drawn.

It really is a horrible feeling - and I am glad a cup of tea helps

Coffee does - yes - it really does -

I definitely love a caffeine fixI definitely love a caffeine fix

All the best today Outlander

Re: rough time

@outlander

Ok, that's good, can you rest today, & do something nice? I never slept last nite, I had a GP appointment today to get a Prescription, I canceled it, until Wednesday. I'm too full of allergy & so tired & achy. I could not stand going to get a Prescription today, like this! 😞

I am just going to try & get some rest now, if it happens, it happens, at least I'm not sitting in the GP's waiting room feeling like this 😞  !!

Ok, I will sign off for now, love & hugs!  Bella   🙂     Talk again soon! HeartCat Happy xo

Re: rough time

Oh @outlander Im sorry to hear that. It’s a horrible feeling. Hope you can take it easy for the rest of the day ❤️🐸

Re: rough time

Yeah @MDT its done now. Theres abit of a tear and was told ill probably bruise and need to keep the bandaid on for at least a few hrs.

Cool @Owlunar we can have our hot drinks together then. I like caramel lattes but not much coffee. Im more os a sweet tooth in this respect. . I tried to focus on other things like the wheres wally on the wall and talking to the pathologist but didnt help this time. I wouldnt mind donating blood but i just cant face it that awful feeling i get just for the short time let alone a longer time im not sure i can handle that.

Thanks @frog that is a cute little emjoi youve got there. Made me smile.

@Former-Member you poor thing. It mightve been a good idea to go to the gp today so theu couldve helped you. If its not allergies you might need antibiotics. Can be hard to tell between illness and allergies sometimes.
Hugs for you too. Rest up

Re: rough time

You are a very kind, compassionate young lady @outlander and you deserve to be happy. Glad to hear you are at least a little bit past the shock of fainting. What are you going to do the rest of the day?

Re: rough time

No nothing planned much today. @MDT was a day at home anyway

Re: rough time

Hi @Former-Member

I understand about the allergies - I get itchy eyes and it makes my vision blurry and I use eye-drops and I am not sure just how often I can use them so I am going to ask the pharmacist today

It's because my cat is shedding winter fluff called dander - and she is a small cat and a short hair but she has this dense underlayer that has kept her warm through this last winter which has been very cold - and I brush her often but my eyes itch so I get it and I feel for you

I have a sweet tooth too @outlander and I love caramel - the drink I like is Caramel Flavoured Up-and-Go which I have for my first breakfast when I take my tablets first thing - one thing about a drink in a box is that my cat can't drink it and she would - if she could - Companion Cat is often into mischief but she is not a mean cat - a friend of mine had to care for her daughter's cat and that cat was really spiteful - my cat is just clever

Giving blood used to be something nearly everyone where I worked did every few months - the Blood Bank was close and we had time off work and our pay wasn't docked - the deal was great back then - we were there for about an hour and they gave us free tea or coffee, biscuits and sweets afterwards. We were lying down before during and after the donation and we were fussed over - actually I had forgotten until I wrote the previous post about being a blood donor

I can't donate now - because I am too old and then there is my medication - but I have been in the tropics - apparently that rules out blood donations too

The things I recollect and the things I learn as I get older - actually I think this is the Good Old Days
