They've gone a lot more quiet @Former-Member I don't think I've heard them for a few days (fingers & toes crossed).
Maybe I've finally bumped them off.
Otherwise I will have to somehow get a pest exterminator, despite the cost - I've not had to do that before (except for termites).
My neighour came up to me this morning (we're not on speaking terms usually, since she ran over my cat).
She wants to replace the entire side-fence (45 year old Jarrah palings) - it will cost well over $2000.
I agreed, because it certainly does need doing. I put in many days (weeks) of repair work on that fence, 13 years ago (but I had help back then).
It's a big unexpected expense, though obviously a good & necessary thing.
I'm still recovering from the shock of that sudden decision, & trying to figure out how to come up with the money...

Oh, some hedge pruning (de-cluttering) will have to be done - to give the tradesmen access to the entire length of the fence (to replace it).

@Shaz51 Well done you. I have to clear my kitchen table by Christmas, everything is on there and the rest.

Hi Everyone - I took two big bags of clothes to the salvos today... but my wardrobe and drawers look no different - how does that happen?
