Hello @Former-Member

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Hi @Former-Member

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

I don't venture across this LE side too often @utopia, was it you who was getting a weighted blanket? If so how are you finding it?

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

I love that story about books @Smc - like - I only have one cat but I have so many bookis life can never been dull - actually my home rather resembles a library

I do dispose of books now and again - but books have to been among my favourite things

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

I did get a weighted blanket @Former-Member.
It's good to use to wrap myself in. But not cover my head with it (too heavy).
It's too heavy to sleep with it on. I can't naturally roll over in my sleep.
But for wrapping yourself in or under when you need security or a sense of security - it is very good.
Because I'm such a big person (think fat) - I got a 10kg blanket. They say 1kg for every 10kg of weight you carry. Problem is, I may be heavy, but I'm not strong.
Personally if I could order it again, id only order a 7kg weight.

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

@Owlunar, I'm constantly mooning over photos of beautiful libraries. I think I could very happily live in one. Smiley Happy

I don't read as much nowadays as I used to. I'm a bit emotionally tired for settling in to the longer attention span a book needs. But I still find books comforting somehow, and expect I'll return to more avid reading eventually.

I guess I've got a long history of being a bookworm. One of my childhood practices was taking a book with me when I climbed my favourite tree. Seriously, where better to read Enid Blyton's "Faraway Tree" books? Smiley Wink

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Next question… is being a bookworm counterproductive when de-cluttering, or are books an exempt category… ?? Mheeheehee….
