Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

@Former-Member @Owlunar @TAB @Faith-and-Hope

Bought antihistamines and p osteo to get me through concert tomorrow. Was dancing last night ( & swapping feet) in rehearsal cos could not stand still. It would spoil concert so gotta try the meds.

It will be a very special event anyway.

My son cant come cos he got a better offer, which is great, and very exciting. I can give his tik to a poor starving music student.

Smiley Happy

Getting through the winter.

I really love this pic @Former-Member HeartHeart

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Are you being missed @Former-Member ? I was at work today so haven’t been on much thanks for you thoughts in Good Morning thingo 😸😀

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I miss you all.
Having a DELAYED S.A.D. here.
Or sulking / pouting over guardianship decision. Poor Dad (idiots!).
They say depression is frozen anger.
Then I'm enraged because blackdog has taken the wheel. Miserable dog!.

@Appleblossom, hope it comes together well and you find someone worthy of a blessing.
Your son reminds me of mine, not caring enough to put us first.
You take care.

initial coping boxinitial coping box

Need support / prayers / light a candle... Just put together and activated my coping box. Whatever it takes - right xoxxox

PS don't worry

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

@Former-Member You were sounding very upset.

Hope your coping kit helps pull you through. Yep whatever it takes.

I am not upset son did not come to concert. He was asked to fill a lead at short notice.  It was a better offer I was fully behind.  Did not find a replacement, but my tik supported a good arts organisation.  I had a wonderful time and was offered a friendly lift home.

I had been a bit worried about choir vibe but 2 of the ladies being bolshie, gave me acknowledgment "looks" during concert.  It has been their bad, and it has caused me a lot of angst.

One of the soloists was friendly.  She has decided to " friend" me on and offline.  I am happy if it is just a smiling respectful warmth.

We cant worry what everyone else thinks about us, but finding a level  of social belonging is important.

Managing and upping my OTC meds for physical symptoms.

Take Care ALL

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hiya @Appleblossom, you found my most. Thanks. Juggling OTC meds is hard. Are your physical symptoms linked to anxiety, muscle? Or are you like me with arthritis? Its hard for me yo not worry what ppl think, mind you, I'do tired & numb atm that I could walk down the street in my pj's this week and not give a damn lol
Your concert sounds wonderful. Wish i kept up my singing.
Yep, I was pretty upset when I posted that 'coping tin' Pitty i'm smoking again - whatever it takes. I thought the flresh whipped cream was a good touch lol
Really tired, packing up house and crying a lot and feeling so alone... Is it me? Am I just overreacting? Feels like I'm on the edge of freezimg over, dying or catatonic. Blhmm, gotta cleatboff bed, get in it. Really cold tonight.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
