Life can be a Pain

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Shaz51

I hope you can have a peaceful night and that Mr Shaz is not too anxious - I hope Poor Little Kidney is okay too and that you are recovering from the UTI - I think I read somewhere that your health was improving

Sending all of you hugs

Re: Life can be a Pain

thank you for the hugs @Owlunar

how has your day been my friend HeartHeart

Poor Little Kidney is ok at the moment , remembering to drink more water but then I feel boated

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Shaz51

My weekend was quiet - I read a lot - I bought some new books on Friday and they are easy to read -

I am glad Poor Little Kidney is doing okay - and I bet likes all the extra water - personally I drink a lot of water in summer but in winter don't think of it as often and enjoy it when I remember

Not good to feel bloated though - horrible feeling - I remember feeling like that each month - very uncomfortable

Sending my best thoughts to you and Mr Shaz and Poor Little Kidney

thank you for the tender hugs my mum @Owlunar xoxoxo

Re: Life can be a Pain

Just popping in @Owlunar to say hello and send some well wishes 💓

Re: Life can be a Pain

Thanks @outlander and @Shaz51

For the hugs and dropping in to say "Hi"

It warms my heart - actually - when night time comes and I am not interested in TV I usually read a lot and well into the night - I like the nights - during winter I think I like to pretend to hibernate

How are you girls feeling - btw Shaz - is Mr Shaz making cuppas for us - and Outlander - how is your hand? Do you still have a cast on

Not easy to do anything with one hand in a cast - and I believe the hardest thing is to wash your other hand

I guess you know this by know

Thanks daughter and grand-daughter

Re: Life can be a Pain

Im a night owl too @Owlunar usually do reading at night too
I actaully just put an update on rough time thread about my hand. The second last page if youd like to read it. And yeh washing my other hand and arm is a pain in the backside!
Hows your day been?

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @outlander

A few years ago I had to have my long silver pony tail cut off because I had torn the tendons in my right shoulder - I cried when I saw it on the floor at the hair-dressers

I have been feeling very flat lately and blaming my BP tablets but my doctor has order blood and urine tests - I don't feel good about this - as if he is trying to find something wrong - and basically I am only doing this because I have been feeling so down-in-the-dumpsies and I have always looked after my health - getting older -

Nuff sed - I feel rather like the wintery weather we are having is causing it  - in Melbourne and people walk around telling each other how cold it is as if we haven't all noticed this already - yeah - 😞

I had ants in my shower recess - a lot of ants - I don't know what could possibly be interesting in there unless they are still getting back at me because I destroyed so many nests last summer - I think I have destroyed the way they have been getting in this time but I am also sure they will be back

there are worse things

Re: Life can be a Pain

Aww sorry you had to cut off your loveley hair @Owlunar hopefully it grew back niceley

I dont thinks hes trying to find something just taking extra precautions eap since its winter- bugs and illness season. Hopefully your able to fins aome answers soon
Maybe it is the cold. Lots of people seem to go down more in winter.

Ants! Geez thats a great place to have them isnt it. You'd think they would be much happier in the garden and stay there instead hey.

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @outlander

Until recently I have been having my hair cut every few weeks but it is growning again - I am still making up my mind about whether to let it grow or not but it definitely needs a trim

I am pretty sure it's the weather that is making me feel down but still I need to have the blood tests etc - I am having trouble getting myself moving today - I will mostly get the tests taken on Friday when I am at the clinic again -

And you are right - we need to take care of our health more during winter - sigh - we have winter every year but here - it doesn't snow

Take care of yourself Outlander
