That's okay @outlander
I understand - there is no need to say anything - just knowing you care is enough
It's pretty tough getting through life - there will always be things happening - for me I find the best thing is sitting through it and that's how things have been lately - but I feel better today and it's great that I had good news from the Orthopaedic Surgeon and I had the stitches out

Hi @utopia
I have had three arthroscopies on that knee and it's okay for now - maybe for the rest of my life - that has to be good
Your family sounds a bit like mine - warring siblings - like do I have to wonder why? It has to be something to do with our parents in my case - or my mother anyway
I hadn't spoken to my brother except at our parents' funerals for so long I forget when we fell apart. after our mother's funeral I snarled at him about his bad language and it was really foul - no need for that
Families - I am sure there are happy families about somewhere but I am at a loss to know what they would be like
I don't know what to say about your brother getting married on your anniversary of your Dad death - I know men don't keep track of dates the way women tend to
So Utopia - after all that weather - how did you last out the storm - there was less rain than I thought there would be after all the forecasts and warnings and even and sms about it
I believe we have more rain coming but hey - this is Melbourne - if we don't like the weather we just wait for a bit and it will be different

Hi yes @outlander
I can start walking again now - and build up back to walking and walking and walking along the streets which is my favourite exercise
How great to hear that from the OS - short walks at first
I haven't checked your thread yet but I will get to that

Hi @utopia
I am so glad you didn't get flooded - wrong side of town or not - great!
I didn't get flooded but I have to get some tiles fixed on the roof - I am so glad that I had those new gutters and drain pipes put in
They forescast more rain this week but there is this strange idea in the minds of many of us here in Melbourne - the weather is whatever the weather willl be and we ride it out - it turns out the forecast of rain here over the weekend was less than expected
All the best Utupia - I am glad you and your little dog are okay
