Mum said she does not recognize the yard now , is that good or bad xx

I did the hand weeding,  bit achy today

See today what my blood test results

Raining here again , will make the weeds grow

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Historylover @Anastasia @Shaz51 @Zoe7

Good morning my dear friends - I am so thankful for your support recently - I did feel really unhappy and uncertain yesterday and deeply considered leaving.

It was your caring posts that stabilized me - so this was so thoughtful it helped me to keep my balance

I can't say what happened - I think you all understand that - it takes a lot to rock my boat - I am okay after going to bed early and getting a good sleep

Re: Life can be a Pain

@Owlunar   You cannot imagine my relief to see you back this morning.  We love you here Dec.  You are the steady hand on our tiller.  Take care of yourself.  We send you our very best wishes and lots of love.HeartHeartHeart

Re: Life can be a Pain

Thanks @Historylover

I am very resilient - my GP told me I learned this without realising it through the difficulties in my life and I am glad for it

Also - it is wonderful feedback to know how deeply I am appreciated - I didn't have a melt-down to learn this but hearing it really does help.

My Fridays are usually busy - I didn't tidy up behind myself before I went to bed last night and so I have had to face the clutter this morning but it's reasonable now and I have a support worker here to do my ironing etc - and then do my shopping. I don't want to expose myself to any possible COVID contacts atm so I miss my Friday outing - it does work so far

I hope you are okay - and I am wondering why your kitchen doesn't have some priorities - after all - we all need to have a working cooking area. I couldn't use my kitchen when the tap exploded last Saturday - it was enough to know a little bit how tough it has to be not to have your kitchen for - what - weeks!!

All the best

Re: Life can be a Pain

@Owlunar - never underestimate how much you mean to us all.  This place can be a natural downer or a natural upper.  Where would we all be without it - and each other?

Yes, @Owlunar - it has been a month without my kitchen so far.  The pieces are here but putting together all of the pieces must be a bewildering job.  No-one has gone over-the-top exasperated with it all yet.  They pop in from time to time, but I think he said that they are now waiting for the electrician to connect the stove before they can proceed and apparently, he is not well.  I'm becoming 'not well' from it all, too.  I would have thought there would be more than one electrician, and surely this situation has priority over many others?

Sending best wishes and kind thoughts.  Have a wonderful day.
