Thanks @Zoe7
Yes - that is very special - a wonderful reply
I have some glorious moments in my life - I always have - and a lot of them to do with the sky -
My daughter said once "Mum - you are always looking at the sky" and she is right - I love the moon - my favourite phase is the crescent moon esp with Venus close by as happens often - I just have to know when to go out and see
I often feel blessed that I have such wonderful moments and I share them - I am really happy to share them

We all have things that we look towards for inspiration or happiness @Owlunar - I have my fur babies first and foremost but in a smaller way I have a necklace that reminds me I am not alone - I have it hanging in a prominent place when I am not wearing it so it is easy to access. There are several items around my loungeroom that give me the same lift when needed - they are my precious things that elicit fond memories. Sometimes the smaller things have the biggest impact - and that can be simply in things we see or search for that remind us of good things.

Hello @Owlunar
You have written that you find it less difficult to express your thoughts and feelings on the forum..
This is a part of your own self care and inner strength...self awareness...
The sunset and sunrise are astounding when seen from certain locations...
at the property that we have just sold...the morning sunrises were spectacular...such a huge expanse...we were up high...
those moments along with the starry nights as no street lights brought me feelings of connection with those whom I desire to connect with..
for me they are experiences of spirtuality....
Your own experiences are yours only.....so beautiful that words cannot convey the depth of such experiences...
I feel that I have sensed only a fleeting glimpse of what you describe that is so very very precious indeed..
I do hope that you have a more peaceful night ....enabling you to rest...
thank you for allowing me into your world of grief in as much as anyone can be...
take care dear Dec...

Hey @Owlunar I am having a very quiet day - lots of resting and sleeping. I didn't have a good night so I am just going with the flow today.
Hi @not2424 Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum
It is not good living with pain. I have been doing a lot of hydrotherapy and that is really helping to strengthen my back and reduce some of the pain. I still find sitting for too long difficult but walking and standing has significantly improved. I also have IBS and have that mostly managed by diet and mediction but when it does flare up it is extremely painful.

Hi @Zoe7
I have been taking today quietly too - I went to sleep for hours yesterday after the bad night I had the night before - and then slept all night as well - I feel much better today but yes - I read a lot of posts earlier but didn't answer many
I recorded Looking for Alibrandi on Friday night and watched it today - again - I have watched it in the past but it has been a long time - the difference in the culture compared with my own is interesting. And humerous - I love the movie
I am thinking about taking a walk - it's a bit chilly out there again - but even wallking around the block is a good idea
Catch up soon
