I'm ok @Shaz51 - just one of those days! Thanks for sitting with me Heart

Re: Am Not Coping

@Shaz51 & @Zoe7. It's getting cold here now. Maybe a hot bath would be good. Maybe with bubbles (a squirt of shampoo - I don't buy bubble bath mix). And I could read my book while having a soak.
What about you @Shaz51 - would a hot bath or shower help with your pain?
@Zoe7 - what can help you right now? A comedy on tv - a shower - making yourself a yummy treat?

Re: Am Not Coping

Happy Easter @oceangirl. I hope you are having a nice evening.

Re: Am Not Coping

@Shaz51Thanks for the hugs, they're much appreciated.

@Zoe7I like the way you describe the forum as a family, supporting each other. That's a great (uplifting) thought.

@utopiaYep, I've still been reading quite a few posts (on related topics), & that definitely does help me to feel some sort of conncection - even if the thread was written ages ago.

Keeping too busy is actually not very healthy, at least with dealing with grief (loss), & some other issues.

Work stress & busy-ness seem to put emotions & "processing things" on hold, at least for me they do. It wasn't by choice, though.

Sometimes I've managed to phone Griefline (to talk about Dad), & that helps.

I must say it's great that you people are on here posting, even though this is often a busy (frantic) time of year (like Christmas) - it's good company.
