Hey @Shaz51
I have the TV on and just heard about the cyclone near Rockhampton - I hope you are not too close but heavy rain - yes - we have had a lot of that in Melbourne over the last few days - and with the hot sun in between my garden is again looking like it has been over-taken by triffids again - a couple of weeks ago I was out there with my clippers and doing some pruning - time to do it again
I guess it would make Mr Shaz anxious though - but there is nothing anyone can do about the rain - it's not like we can spread it around to the areas that need it

I will have my fingers crossed for you and Mr. Shaz that the sun returns this week - and hopefully not too hot for you both @Shaz51.
Cat plays with the lizards and I am often rescuing them and putting them back in the garden away from her.

@Zoe7 I smiled when you mentioned frogs and toads and cat chasing them. My girl freaks out if there's a fly inside. Bug eyes, shakes, the lot. The other day there was a small lizard inside, say no more, she was paranoid. Lol. Chihuahuas. !!!!!!!!

I just had a look at the BOM radar and it looks as if the whole east coast of Australia is awash right now -
We had a really close thunderstorm last night and there was a loud clap this afternoon that stopped my power for a few moment - and some people in my street - which is a pretty long street - were planning a street party and they might not be able to enjoy that tonight if they planned it legally - more rain is forecast -
And Melbourne was deluged during today I think - I will have to catch up with the news - I hung my washing out for about an hour and it dried enough to bring in because it got very dark and rained hard -
Hey - it's actually summer and humid yes - but the rain - some one made a mistake I think
But rain - nearly every capital city has it right now which I recollect happened last year

Just saw the forecast for tomorrow @Shaz51 @Maggie - expecting storms and a lot of rain - might need to put off the shopping again and do with what I have at home until Monday. I am working in the afternoon so can do a little shopping in the morning. I have n idea what to get everyone for christmas - I better call my mum soon and see if there is anything she wants - her birthday is straight after christmas so I at least need to get something for that day.
