@Zoe7. Jesse doesn't have a romantic bone in his body. He expects her to work in his dads fruit shop. So does the entire family. They all expect her to also live with the family. Aaarrrggghhh!!!!! & none of them - especially Jesse - who should be the one - has even asked her if she wants too.
He is looking for free labour for the shop & hips to bear the children. End of story.
